The observatory said the blazing heat is a result of subsiding air in the periphery of Typhoon Dolphin.
It expects the sweltering weather to continue for a couple of days, when temperatures could top 37 degrees Celsius in some areas.
Typhoon Dolphin made landfall in Zhejiang Province on China's eastern coast on Sunday afternoon.

。    作为国宝，大熊猫的地位可以说羡煞一众动物，当然，也让不少人羡慕不已。据央视财经报道，10月18日，大熊猫“四海”“京京”从四川启程、乘坐专机前往卡塔尔，标志着我国与中东地区首例大熊猫保护研究合作之旅正式启动。根据中国和卡塔尔达成的大熊猫保护研究合作协议，这两只大熊猫将在接下来的15年旅居卡塔尔，这也是中东地区迎来的首对大熊猫。而据最新消息，两只大熊猫搭乘的转机已经抵达卡塔尔首都多哈，为迎接“四海”“京京”的到来，卡塔尔政府精心建造了大熊猫馆，这也是中东地区第一家大熊猫馆。据了解，这座大熊猫馆坐落在位于卡塔尔首都多哈以北50公里处的豪尔公园，该公园建于1983年，是卡塔尔历史最悠久的公园之一。这座专门修建的熊猫馆建筑面积十分大，拥有卧室、游乐场等，为了保证大熊猫的正常繁育、食物供给、医疗安全，场馆内还专门给它设有育幼室、治疗室、食物调制间、竹子保鲜室、安全监控室等，以满足其多样化的生活需求。卡塔尔干燥的气候和高温天气，给熊猫生活带去了不小挑战，为此，大熊猫馆通过精确控制湿度和温度，尽可能模拟大熊猫自然栖息地的四季变化，为大熊猫在沙漠气候下提供凉爽的室内生活条件。在接受采访时，当地不少居民表示自己之前只在电视上看过大熊猫，这次大熊猫来到卡塔尔，给了他们亲眼看到大熊猫的机会，等到开馆后，会带着全家一起来参观。
